The MGT Cloud Log is a comprehensive log management service tailored for Magneto applications. It is a centralized platform to gather, store, analyze, and oversee log data. With this powerful service, you can effortlessly monitor and troubleshoot system behavior and derive valuable insights into system performance. It offers a streamlined solution for efficient log management within the Magneto ecosystem.

To access the logs, navigate to the Log Explorer section in MGT Cloud Log. Where you get an options to filter the logs based on URL, Instance ID, User agent, and Status Codes. This feature allows you to conveniently search and analyze the logs according to your specific requirements.

We configure many types of logs on the Cloud Log. The common logs include Magento, Nginx, PHP-FPM, Mail Logs, MySQL, and slow query logs.

By default, we add Exception logs, Reports, and System logs. If our customers request any custom logs to be added to Cloud Log, we will do that as well.

Magento error logs are a useful tool for basic troubleshooting. The Error messages generated during the deployment process are written to var/log/cloud.log and the var/log/cloud.error.log files.

The Magento error log file contains only errors from the latest deployment. An empty file indicates a successful deployment with no errors.

The following logs have a common location for all Cloud projects:

  • Deployment log: var/log/cloud.log
  • Last deployment error log: var/log/cloud.error.log
  • Debug log: var/log/debug.log
  • System log: var/log/system.log
